In Person Workshops + Classes

Most of us learned very early what our bodies were supposed to look like. Then the rules kept changing. Soft and round, then thin, then strong and toned, then curvy but only in certain places. Now we're told to age without looking like we're aging. No wonder so many of us feel like there's always one more thing to fix before we're allowed to feel at home in ourselves.

And it doesn't stop with our own bodies. We walk into a room and size up the other women in it. We feel a little sting when a friend seems to have it easier. We long for real friendship with women, and we're also a little wary of it, especially if we never saw what that looked like growing up.

None of this means something is wrong with you. Women have been shaped this way for a very long time, and so much of what we carry as personal shame is actually something we share.

This half-day women's workshop is about what we were taught about our bodies, about getting older, and about each other, and what might open up when we start to put some of that down.

Together, we'll explore:

Where your beliefs about your body came from, and which ones you never chose

How comparison and jealousy show up between women, and what they might be trying to tell you

Why so many of us feel guarded with other women, and where that mistrust comes from

Feminine yoga and movement to help you feel at home in your body

A guided practice for meeting your fear around closeness with other women, so it doesn't have to run the show

You'll leave kinder toward your body, with more compassion for yourself and the culture that shaped you, and with a real taste of what it feels like to be with women in a different way.
